UTA Solution: Encourage More Timely Adoptions
If professors submit their textbooks before the start of buy-back, bookstore managers are able to pay the highest prices at the end of term. In our case study this would provide students with an extra $29.30 at buy-back. On campuses where this textbook is used on a large scale, the total financial impact could number in the thousands of dollars.
Overall, timely adoptions could save students from 5 to 40 percent of their initial investment.
